Come and join us for our secret season, August through October and take advantage of the best adventure and lodging prices of the year. Pay $176.50 per person to spend two nights at the Nantahala Village and choose one of the following packages to enjoy. Availability is limited.

The Nantahala Village Resort and Spa is privileged to be in relationship with two horse stables in the area, The Nantahala Village Stables located on site, and Lonesome Dove Stables in Robbinsville. Catering to all groups and sizes from singles, families, church groups, and special needs children, riders will experience a scenic adventure through sundry parts of the Nantahala National Forest.

Enjoy a soaring and gliding experience naturally fueled by a gradual elevation change at Nantahala Gorge Canopy Tours (NGCT). It takes limited energy to participate and is not designed to scare with big drops as much as excite with smooth gliding. Nantahala Gorge Canopy Tours opened July, 2009 and is the first zipline/canopy tour facility in the area.

Eight miles of clear water, constant waves and swift currents make the Nantahala River a delight for all ages and groups interested in an exhilarating introduction to whitewater rafting. The trip takes over 3 hours and contains numerous class I and II rapids, with a class III at the end. Our rafting trips are fully guided. Since the Nantahala River is a dam-controlled river, one can expect good water flows at all times of the year.

Join our skilled and knowledgeable local guides by following in the steps of the early explorers, visiting the back roads of the region and learning more about this beautiful region directly from North Carolina locals. This 2-hour tour takes you on a personal exploration up the mountain to some of the most spectacular waterfalls in the Nantahala area. Travel past beautiful lakes and up to the Appalachian Trail.

The spa has been moved to the newly renovated historical Tabor House. This 1800s original Village farm house was lovingly taken apart board by board put back together exactly as it appeared in the 1800s, only better. It exemplifies all of the luxuries of a classic spa while retaining an intimate cottage feel. The relaxing atmosphere and quiet mountain comforts make this spa experience extraordinarily unforgettable. Click for Spa Menu
Package includes:


  • 2 Nights lodging and one activity package (Prices based on double occupancy)
    • Accommodations include a King-bed or two Queen-bed Lodge Room
    • King-bed Fireplace Suite ($35 upgrade fee)
    • A One bedroom historic cabin ($40 upgrade fee)
  • All accomodations based on double occupancy
  • If room can accommodate four people, price will be $176.50 for the first two people and $109 for each additional person
  • Add 11% tax subtotal for state and occupancy taxes and $1 per person for Rafting and Jeep taxes
  • All other fees are included in the package price
