PAINTBALL COURSE COMING SPRING 2007!

Village guests return again and again for their Western North Carolina vacation in the Smoky Mountains, in part because of all of the recreational options available from our front door. Without leaving the property you can swim, horseback ride, mountain bike, hike, start a whitewater rafting adventure on the Nantahala River, or play tennis, shuffleboard, or volleyball. We also have a 1000 square foot game room and a large covered deck with panoramic Smokey Mountain views that we often use for evening entertainment. And for younger children, we have a playground area.

In addition, Nantahala Village provides an ideal base for a complete Western North Carolina vacation in the Smoky Mountains. Within a 30 minute drive you can find the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, the Cherokee reservation, authentic gem mines, and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Bryson City. We are also located one mile from Fontana Lake, where boating, swimming, and fishing are available. Five miles away you'll find Tsali Recreation Area, rated as one of the ten best mountain bike trail locations in the country. Your opportunities for fun and adventure are unlimited at the Village.

Weather in our area can vary greatly even in the summertime. You can check the weather forecast here and we'll have it available for you while you are staying with us.
