MEETING ROOM POLICIES
Deposit, Cancellation, and Payment Policies
We ask for a 50% deposit of the estimated total charge for all lodging, meal, and meeting room reservations. The balance is due upon departure (or after your event if arrangements have been made in advance).
For lodging reservations, cancellations with 3 weeks' notice are subject to a 5% administrative fee. If you cancel with less than 3 weeks' notice, we will return 50% of your deposit, unless you cancel on your arrival date, in which case you forfeit yor entire deposit.
For food service functions and meeting room reservations, if you cancel with less than a week's notice we will return 50% of your deposit. You will be asked to commit to a definite number of guests one week prior to the date of your function. It is important that you get a commitment from your group, as this is the minimum number for which you will be charged. If you go over that number, we will charge you for the actual number of guests present. Prices shown on the banquet menus do not include tax or gratuity. They will be added at the time of payment.
Menu Selections
We ask that you make your selections as soon as possible after making your reservations; however, changes may be made up to one week in advance.
Number of Guests
Your group numbers need to be confirmed at least one week in advance. This will determine the minimum number for which you will be charged.
Smoking
We maintain a no-smoking policy in our lodge, including our restaurant and meeting spaces; however, your group members are welcome to smoke on the front porch.
Entertainment
In order for all of our guests to be able to enjoy our mountain resort, we discourage live bands, with the exception of traditional mountain music. We ask that you not plan for amplified music or entertainment, and that you plan to end any music by 10:00 p.m. All plans to bring in outside entertainment must be approved by us in advance. If you need suggestions or help in arranging for entertainment, we would be happy to assist you.
Pricing
All prices are based on the cost per person unless otherwise specified. All food and beverage services have additional charges of 7% sales tax and 18% gratuity. We also charge a 5% service charge which is applied directly to the costs incurred while planning your function. Lodging reservations are subject to sales and room tax, which is 10%.
Care of Our Facilities
We ask that you not attach anything to our walls, floors, or ceilings without prior approval from our Group Reservations Coordinator. Also, we ask that you conduct your group function in a manner that is respectful of others on the property as well as of the property itself.
