The Austen room is spacious and light with a view of the mountians and a view of the wedding deck. This lodge room is the first at the top of the stairs and has the extra windows to view the Observation Point at the top of the resort. In the lodge itself you are closest to the Thirteen Moons restaurant and the Featherstone Lounge. At the front door of the lodge you can be picked up to go whitewater rafting, kayaking, ziplining, lake touring, jeep touring and many other activities. The lodge grounds include a pool, tennis courts, day spa, horseback riding, game room and fitness room. All of these amenities are within walking distance of the lodge, as well as the Nantahala Gorge Visitors Center and National Forestry hiking trails. The Austen room has WIFI connection and DirecTV satellite. |

The lodge rooms on the mountain side of the lodge - Austem Room, Bronte Room, Chaucer Room, Kipling Room and the Tennyson Room have two queen beds - the Shakespeare Room has a king bed. All are spacious rooms with a sitting area and are comfortably and elegantly furnished as you would expect of Smoky Mountain resorts with great views of the Applachain Mountains. Just downstairs are the Thirteen Moons restaurant and the Featherstone Lounge. Close to the recreation activities, tennis courts, Village Spa and Phoenix deck. |
